At around 2016, I designed an ad that would help promote the business in a high profile Colombian magazine. In addition to that, I created the look and design for the packaging since the business is delivery based, and I also designed promotional pieces like brochures and flyers.

FitFood is a Colombian company that offers personalized meal plans to help clients achieve their goals, such as losing weight or increasing muscle mass. Since personalization is a crucial aspect of the brand's identity, I opted for a counter-form design, highlighting each shape and emphasizing the concept of customization through the fitting together of forms.Regarding color, a saturated red tone was chosen to emphasize the contrast between the shapes and represent the strength, passion, and commitment that the brand has towards its clients.

CENTURY 21 is a global real estate company its branch in Colombia is called CENTURY 21 Colombia. I worked as a graphic designer from 2015 to august 2023, before I came to Canada to pursue my animation studies. I was in charge of designing new materials for promoting the brand, services and products to be used across the network, either printed or Online. I would frequently redesign and update old materials so that they would be up par with the latest design trends and company practices.

As the graphic designer I was in charge of, not only designing new materials for the brand’s marketing but also safeguarding the company’s visual guidelines and the way it was used by other members of the network or third parties hired by them. In order to do so, I would create templates in accessible softwares like Microsoft Office for them to easily edit, without compromising the guidelines of the logotype.

When the re-branding took place in 2018, I did the respective re-designing of promotional and training materials, stationary, documents, social media images, etc. I was also tasked with translating the Brand Guidelines into Spanish, and with making a shorter, user - friendly version, so that our clients could make proper use of the new visual identity, should they need to.

I developed engaging Prezi presentations and learning materials, both digital and printed, to be used by Realtors in training and instructors on the courses offered by the company. The objective was to layout the information in a captivating and interesting way, using icons, animations, colors, and other graphic elements and approaches to enhance the education process.

Signage

Not only is each office physically different, but they also have their own unique name and spirit. I made sure to take these factors into account when designing the signage and all the branding both inside and outside the offices.

After the re-branding, we restructured all the signage and brand presence in each office, particularly the facades. I designed several options for each office and created photo montages so that franchisees could get an idea of how they would look in real life and make a choice.

Using various image banks, I selected the appropriate photos to represent each concept. I sometimes needed to create small photo montages when the main photo did not effectively convey the intended message. I also designed graphic elements to enhance the design and make it more impactful.

On special dates (Valentine’s Day, Colombia’s Soccer Matches, Christmas, etc.), or when social media trends propelled us to use popular memes, I incorporated such memes and graphic elements into the design while maintaining the company’s corporate image.
